Guilds
When traveling throughout the world of Dransik players will often be
encountered who have letters beside their name.
These letters stand for a "guild" name.
A clan or guild is basically a group of players who band together to aide
each other in individual quests, and fight for the common beliefs of the
guild.
Some guilds are considered "evil" and members of these guilds have names
colored in red. A new player in Dransik would do well to avoid evil players
until strong enough to join a guild of their own
(evil or good), or survive attacks by them.
Another reason for joining a guild is for protection against other guilds.
Fellow guild members come to each others aide when under attack, and will
guard each others corpses until a player can recover their belongings.
To become "evil" a player must attack and kill friendly townspeople or other
friendly (green) players.
Once a players name is red, to become green again many creatures must be
killed and the red name will slowly change back to neutral, then green.
A player begins their quest in Dransik as a "neutral".
Another perk to joining a guild is the stronghold or fortresses which each
guild has.
This is a building which fellow guild members can access with a key.
Rooms are available to store extra weapons, armor, gold, and other
belongings.
This is also a safe place to go hide if low on health.
To join a guild, go to the message board on www.dransik.com and post a
message in the required guild topic.
Many guilds have requirements to join (a certain level must be reached,
etc).
If accepted to a guild, the player can wear the guild initials by his or her
name by clicking on the guild dead in the backpack.
This can only be done after the leader of the guild "adds" the player to the
guild list.
