There are many reasons for going into a town, and the main one is probably to go shopping. You will notice that there is only so much your backpack will hold; at this point you must make a trip in town to convert the goods to gold. While in town a player will encounter different shops characterized by an icon by their door. For instance, the weapons shop as a small picture of a sword by the door. In order to buy or sell an object, first go into the appropriate store. Double-click on the shopkeeper and a "Buy/Sell" choice appears.

If "buy" is selected, the shopkeepers inventory is shown on the left had part of the screen. Each item has a price listed beside it (in gold pieces). Simply double-click on an item to purchase it. Be careful not to click to fast or you may wind up with two of the same objects! To sell an item choose "sell" and the players inventory of applicable items will be listed next to the price the shopkeeper will pay for it (You must be in a weapons shop to sell weapons, an armour shop to sell armour, etc).

Double-click the item to sell and it will disappear followed by the appearance of gold pieces. You will notice a shopkeeper will only buy back goods for 1/2 the amount paid for them (They mark it back up 100% after you sell it to them).
