When a player enters Dransik, they are weak and unskilled in combat. It is best if a player stays near the town they spawn by. The guards can protect the player from overbearing monsters. Venture to the lands nearby your starting town and kill weaker creatures such as bats and spiders.

The food and loot obtained from these creatures can be sold to the provisioner (the shop with a key symbol outside) in town for money. As a player advances, accumulated wealth can be used to obtain more advanced armor and weapons from the appropriate shop in town. The vendors are supplied with the proper equipment for new players.

When running around a player will encounter other players whose names appear above them. If a name appears light green, that is a "good" player, while if the name is red, it is an "evil" player. There is more information on this in the "combat" section below.

It is advisable to store excess gold in the bank just in case the player adventures out to far and encounters too fierce of a creature. In which case (after dying), the player respawns at the spawn point nearest where they died. A quick dash to the nearest town and the player can retrieve money from the bank, go purchase some armor and weapons which may enable he or she to go recover their original belongings from their rotting corpse.

Meanwhile, it is best to ask a trusted friend to guard your body. If a player does not show back up to claim their belongings, another player can "loot" the body when it sufficiently decomposes. In this case all the belongings left behind are lost unless the player who looted them decides to give them back. When going to the bank, click on the teller and a blank window will popup. Drag and drop what belongings you wish to store onto the blank window and left click to leave. Your stored goods can be accessed from a bank in any town. Also, if you cannot get to your corpse without dying again, you can ask another player to bring your all goods to a safer place where you can meet.

Once there, they can drag and drop your items on the ground for you to pickup. While playing Dransik, there are a few simple rules which must be abided by, No cursing, this will get you banned by the developer or other admins. There is a curse filter in this new version, but don't constantly try it out :) Also, be helpful to others and courteous (especially new players). Being rude will just make everyone else miserable and eventually may lead to being banned from the server.
